Mechanical Engineer

LMC is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who's ready to be the technical backbone of projects, not just designing parts, but owning the full arc from concept through installation and startup. If you've got 8+ years in industrial equipment or custom machinery and you're ready to lead rather than just execute, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

-

Design mechanical systems in 3D CAD, with the tolerances and documentation to back them up

Apply deep sheet metal and welding expertise to build solutions that are as manufacturable as they are innovative

-

Reverse-engineer existing equipment to squeeze out better performance and reliability

-

Run FAT/SAT testing, prototype validation, and troubleshoot system-level issues in the field

Manage multiple projects at once

-

Partner directly with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into real engineered solutions

WHAT YOU BRING

-

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

-

8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with industrial equipment, automation, or custom-engineered systems

Deep sheet metal and welded-structure design experience

-

Strong 3D CAD skills and a track record of leading technical decisions, not just following them

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with automated equipment or material handling systems

Design-for-manufacturing (DFM) know-how

Hands-on installation and commissioning experience
