Primary duties or responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct on‑site visits and provide system training
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and riser diagrams
• Understand HVAC/hydronic systems to identify key monitoring points (e.g., supply/return lines, mechanical rooms)
• Plan and prepare for system deployments and installations
• Install, activate, test, and commission monitoring devices and sensors
• Configure and troubleshoot communication networks for connected devices
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to device connectivity, sensor performance, and system reliability
• Analyze alerts, reports, and system data to identify potential leaks or abnormal conditions
• Train clients or building staff on system usage and basic troubleshooting
• Prepare documentation, reports, and CAD-based layouts for system designs
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients during project execution
• Provide post-installation support to ensure proper functionality of deployed systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Advanced degrees are considered an asset)
• Basic understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems (used for system context, not operation responsibility)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings
• Familiarity with riser diagrams and water distribution layouts is an asset
• Hands-on experience in construction, mechanical systems, or fieldwork is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently in field environments and as part of a team
• Experience with basic software tools and CAD for layout/design support
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project requirements
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Pay: $48,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
