Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a fast-learning and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support our existing production equipment and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

This position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys working directly with production equipment, solving technical problems, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment.
• Support the installation, maintenance, modification, and improvement of existing manufacturing equipment.
• Identify equipment problems and develop practical solutions to minimize production downtime.
• Assist with automation, motion control, robotics, and machine vision systems.
• Develop and modify mechanical designs, drawings, and equipment components as needed.
• Support PLC programming, troubleshooting, and equipment controls.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Document equipment modifications, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
• Assist with integrating new equipment, sensors, cameras, and automation systems.
• Perform other engineering and technical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
• Python
• AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Motion control systems
• Robotics / pick-and-place systems
• Arduino
• Industrial camera / machine vision systems
• Ability to learn new technologies and equipment quickly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-motivated engineer who is comfortable working directly with machinery and production equipment. Candidates who can combine mechanical engineering knowledge with electrical, automation, programming, and troubleshooting skills are especially encouraged to apply.

Pay: $33.50 - $72.00 per hour
