Mechanical Engineer

Tan Well Engineering Pte Ltd is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support engineering work across equipment, mechanical systems and project activities. The role involves turning technical requirements into practical solutions while keeping drawings, documentation and project tasks properly coordinated.

The engineer will work closely with the project team and external parties to support design development, equipment-related matters and on-site requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Prepare mechanical drawings, layouts, specifications and supporting documents.
Carry out engineering calculations and assist in developing mechanical solutions.
Review technical requirements, equipment information and project specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and other parties on engineering matters.
Support procurement activities by reviewing technical information and equipment requirements.
Attend site activities such as inspections, installation checks, testing or commissioning when necessary.
Assist with troubleshooting of mechanical and equipment-related issues.
Monitor assigned engineering tasks and follow up on technical actions and deliverables.
Keep drawings, reports, records and other project documentation properly updated.
Work in accordance with relevant engineering standards, quality procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Candidate Profile

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience in mechanical engineering, equipment or project work is advantageous.
Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Good understanding of engineering principles and practical problem-solving.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision and manage assigned deadlines.
Detail-conscious and systematic when preparing technical information.
Willing to support site-based engineering activities when required.

Day-to-Day Environment

The position offers a mix of engineering documentation, technical coordination and practical project support. It is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work and can communicate clearly when dealing with technical issues, suppliers and project requirements.

Pay: $3,800.00 - $5,000.00 per month
