Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer – Natural Gas, Propane, & Renewable Hydrogen Systems
Standby Systems, Inc. | Minneapolis, MN | Full-Time
Standby Systems is seeking a mechanical engineer with a passion for working in the gas-energy field - designing and supporting our propane, propane-air peak shaving & back-up systems, custom gas blending, and renewable hydrogen systems for utility and industrial clients. This role sits at the center of engineering for some of the largest and most technically demanding projects in our company’s history, including new work supporting large scale critical power production infrastructure.
Standby's supplemental gas systems support utility gas energy delivery during peak periods of use and provide back-up gas security for critical infrastructure such as hospitals and sensitive manufacturing facilities that cannot tolerate a loss of natural gas supply. Standby Systems, Inc. is a Minneapolis based company with deep roots in gas energy and is a leader in the development of renewable hydrogen systems.
