Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities1. Heavy Equipment & Fleet Management

• Oversee the mobilization, installation, and operation of heavy road construction plant machinery (e.g., batching plants, asphalt pavers, tower cranes, dump trucks, excavators, and soil compactors).
• Design, implement, and track preventative maintenance schedules to eliminate equipment breakdown and costly downtime on the field.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on site to ensure fast equipment turnaround.

2. Specialized Bridge & Civil Machinery Operations

• Monitor and manage the assembly, operation, and safety of specialized bridge building gear, such as launching gantries, segment lifters, and form travelers.
• Coordinate closely with Civil and Structural site engineers to ensure heavy machinery placement respects the load capacity constraints of the newly poured concrete structures.
• Manage specialized site installations, including bridge drainage systems, large water pumps, ventilation systems, or toll plaza MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components.

3. Cost Optimization and Logistics

• Track daily fuel, oil, and lubricant consumption metrics alongside spare parts inventory to control operational overhead.
• Source, evaluate, and inspect spare parts or third-party mechanical fabrication items to ensure they meet technical and safety benchmarks.
• Manage relationships with heavy equipment suppliers and machinery rental vendors.

4. Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Enforce strict compliance with local safety regulations (such as DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards and the Philippine Mechanical Engineering Act) during all mechanical repairs and lifting operations.
• Lead the inspection and load certification of cranes, rigging equipment, and high-pressure hydraulic lines before use.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
