Mechanical Engineer

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort CAD models (3D) into a well-established list of raw materials, assemblies, components, parts, and the quantities of each needed to manufacture and complete an end product of a truck (Also known as the BOM of Truck)- ENGINE CATEGORY.
• Validation of actual parts to be represented on the CAD model for the specific HVN of truck BOM - ENGINE CATEGORY.
• Prepare a configurable multilevel BOM (CMBOM) of a truck, which is a dynamic and comprehensive set of VHN to be utilized by PPIC and CKD for end-product manufacturing, along with a checklist of reusable parts, using 3D data configurator software.
• Coordinate with the Parts Library Custodian for the Confirmation of the appropriate part code of existing and allocated truck parts on the R&D Parts Library and TRK system.
• Input required data for each part, component, or assembly that will provide a definite and descriptive detail of the aforementioned, which will not only serve as a CMBOM but also as a database of truck parts in coordination with the database developer (programmer).
• Perform other related tasks, duties, and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATION/S:

• Preferably a graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or any related course.
• With basic knowledge and experience with automotive parts.
• Knowledgeable in any CAD/CAM
• Knows how to read technical drawings and specifications, manuals, and catalogues.
• With technical experience in automotive manufacturing/assembly plant, motor pool, or other mechanical/electrical assembly is an advantage.
• With at least one (1) year of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
