MECHANICAL ENGINEER

CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

• Liaise with engineering teams consultants, and stakeholders on technical design and processes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review project drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely submission of quality assurance reports, site updates, and financial progress reports to Management/Immediate Superior.
• Supervise site personnel to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with Mechanical (HVAC) and Electrical specifications, standards, and approved procedures.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure proper integration and prevent clashes between different building services.
• Review MEP drawings and coordinate with relevant disciplines to resolve design discrepancies and site coordination issues.
• Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and MEP systems to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in monitoring and coordinating subcontractors involved in M&E works.
• Ensure that all works comply with approved method statements, specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate site staff to improve performance, productivity, and job satisfaction.
• Track and monitor the work progress of subordinates to ensure efficient execution and optimal resource allocation.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 4–5 years of experience in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and related mechanical works
• Strong communication and coordination skills with subcontractors, consultants, and client
• Based at Kulim Kedah
