Role Summary
The Assistant Manager Mechanical leads the maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management of pharmaceutical manufacturing, processing, and utility equipment. The role ensures continuous plant operations while adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGxP), safety regulations, and statutory norms.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Operations:
Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for formulation, OSD (Oral Solid Dosage), processing, and packing equipment.
Oversee compression machines, coating equipment, and blister/bottle packing lines.
Minimize equipment downtime and track Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
