Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical components and assemblies for state-of-the-art devices. You will oversee the full product lifecycle from initial concept to production, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Design mechanical components and assemblies considering strength, durability, weight, heat dissipation, and optomechanical requirements.
• Manufacturing & Process Selection: Select appropriate manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, injection molding) to achieve cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Standards & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, ISO standards, and quality management systems throughout the development process.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed mechanical design documentation, technical drawings, specifications, manufacturing instructions, and Design History Files (DHF).
• Supplier & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with external suppliers and manufacturers to guarantee timely and high-quality production of mechanical components.
• Testing & Data Analysis: Process test data, analyze results, and present clear reports and actionable conclusions.
• Innovation & Research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering to contribute to product enhancements and future iterations.

Requirements:

• Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience: 10+ years of proven hands-on experience in mechanical design and development.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience with miniature mechanisms and optomechanical design.
• Software & Standards: High proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Soft Skills: Passion for rapid problem-solving, adaptability, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
