Helion is connecting with engineers for an upcoming on-site assembly process project in Newnan, Georgia .

The assignment will support a sub-assembly relocation , with a focus on making workstations, tooling, and processes ready for production.

📍 On-site: Newnan, GA

💰 Anticipated pay: $65–$80/hour, depending on experience

💼 Long-term contract: 12+ months

Project work includes:

• Developing and updating CAD layouts and drawings
• Supporting fixture design and implementation
• Evaluating DC assembly tools and presses
• Designing workstation layouts and assembly processes
• Addressing ergonomics, operator access, and material flow
• Supporting installation, trial runs, and production handoff

The ideal background:

Hands-on mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience in an assembly environment, strong CAD skills, and the ability to take a process from drawing to implementation on the floor.

Experience with fixtures, fastening systems, presses, and workstation ergonomics is particularly relevant.
