Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our fast-paced lighting manufacturing team. This role focuses on designing and developing custom lighting products from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, sheet metal parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Convert solid models to sheet metal parts and create solids from surfaces.
• Use SolidWorks and DraftSight for design and drafting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and team members to develop custom products.
• Assist with prototyping, product development, and other engineering tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, especially sheet metal applications, and DraftSight.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, artistic ability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic electrical and wiring knowledge, along with prototyping experience, is a plus.

Position Requirements: This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must be available to work in-house.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
