Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Machinery

About the Position:

Seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and improve industrial machinery and plant equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical design, equipment repairs and upgrades, vendor sourcing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 2D/3D mechanical designs, drawings, P&IDs, and schematics using AutoCAD.

Design, evaluate, and improve industrial machinery and mechanical components.
Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Source replacement parts and coordinate equipment repairs and rebuilds with vendors.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while managing project schedules.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

5+ years of industrial machinery or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and mechanical drafting.
Strong knowledge of machine design, machining, tolerances, and assembly processes.
Experience sourcing parts for industrial equipment repairs and rebuilds.
Familiarity with industrial electrical wiring and mechanical troubleshooting.
