Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, particularly in industrial construction projects such as factories, manufacturing plants, and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing project estimates, supervising the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical works
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Plan, supervise, and monitor the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, pumps, ventilation, and utility systems
• Conduct inspections to ensure that mechanical installations comply with approved plans, quality standards, and applicable Philippine codes
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems used in industrial facilities
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and systems
• Conduct regular visits to construction sites to monitor project progress and verify compliance with engineering standards
• Monitor project schedules and ensure mechanical works are completed according to approved timelines
• Attend project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when necessary

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with a valid PRC license
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry
• Experience in industrial construction projects, such as factories, manufacturing plants, or industrial facilities
• Experience in mechanical project estimation, cost analysis, BOQ preparation, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, piping, pumps, compressors, chillers, and other mechanical utility systems
• Familiarity with the National Building Code of the Philippines, applicable Mechanical Code provisions, Fire Code, and Occupational Safety and Health Standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering or project management software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Willing to conduct site inspections and travel to project locations as required
