Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION – MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Location: Bijapur, Karnataka
Experience: 5–7 years
CTC: ₹40,000–₹90,000 per month
Project Duration: 3–6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical commissioning activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project plans, technical specifications, and procedures.
• Monitor site execution and verify that prescribed commissioning processes are followed correctly.
• Oversee mechanical checks, equipment alignment, piping inspections, testing, and related activities.
• Identify deviations and coordinate with the project team for resolution.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth commissioning.
• Maintain commissioning records, checklists, and punch lists while ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical commissioning and/or maintenance in the power sector is mandatory. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, piping, and turbo machinery is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings, piping isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Compensation & Employment Terms

• Travel and accommodation will be arranged by the company or reimbursed as per agreed terms.
• Deployment may involve shift-based working, depending on project requirements.
• The engagement is project-based for approximately 3–6 months. Continuation beyond the project duration is not guaranteed and will depend on business requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
