Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong design knowledge, proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling software, and practical workshop skills. The candidate will develop mechanical designs, prepare engineering drawings, and support manufacturing, assembly, and testing activities.

Required Skills:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Create manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and maintain design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and select suitable materials and components.
• Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, performance, and cost.
• Support workshop activities, including fabrication, fitting, assembly, and prototype development.
• Use measuring instruments to inspect components and verify dimensions against engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams to resolve technical issues.
• Update designs based on testing results and production feedback.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain proper handling of tools and equipment.
