Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer supports the Senior MEP Engineer in managing and maintaining mechanical systems at the NEOM Primary Nursery Facility. The role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, elevator, and related systems. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance activities, troubleshooting faults, coordinating contractors, monitoring spare parts, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4–6 years of experience in mechanical systems design, operation, and maintenance.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HVAC, hydraulics, plumbing, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
• Maintenance: Experience in preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections.
• Commissioning: Experience in equipment testing, commissioning, and facility handover.
• Software Skills: Good knowledge of SAP and MAXIMO maintenance management systems.
• Standards and Safety: Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, quality assurance, quality control, and HSE procedures.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Coordination: Ability to supervise contractors, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
