Reports to: Director of Engineering

Build. Innovate. Engineer What’s Next.

Are you a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and seeing your designs come to life? Join our engineering team and help develop innovative, high-performance drilling equipment that supports critical oil and gas operations.

We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven engineer who thrives at the intersection of mechanical design, engineering analysis, and manufacturing. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to new product development, improve existing equipment, solve real-world technical challenges, and help deliver reliable solutions for demanding operating environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design & Innovate: Develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for drilling equipment, from initial concepts through production.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Perform engineering calculations, stress and fatigue analysis, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs and improve performance.
  • Bring Designs to Life: Create and modify 3D models, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.
  • Partner with Manufacturing: Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and field service teams to improve manufacturability, resolve production challenges, and optimize costs.
  • Test & Validate: Support prototype development, factory acceptance testing, qualification testing, and product performance evaluations.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Investigate equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement engineering improvements that enhance reliability and safety.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Support engineering changes, improve existing products, and contribute to new product development initiatives.
  • Make an Impact in the Field: Provide technical support for customer applications, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help ensure reliable performance in the field.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Approximately 3–10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in oil and gas, drilling equipment, pressure control equipment, rotating equipment, or industrial manufacturing.

  • Experience with mechanical design, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and design calculations.

  • Familiarity with FEA, GD&T, materials selection, manufacturing processes, and failure analysis.

  • Knowledge of applicable API standards and ASME codes is a plus.

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, Creaform, AutoCAD, or similar engineering tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • A practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges and continuous improvement.

  • Why This Opportunity?

  • Work on engineered products used in demanding oil and gas applications.

  • Contribute to projects spanning design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve meaningful technical challenges.

  • Help improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Turn engineering concepts into practical solutions with real operational impact.
