Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Consultant Office – Dubai)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our consultant office in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in mechanical design and supervision, along with relevant certifications, and be available for immediate joining.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within consultancy or construction supervision projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Valid professional certifications and approvals as per UAE requirements
• Proficiency in design and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other relevant tools
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and mechanical design principles
• Familiarity with Dubai authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA)
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review mechanical design drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems in line with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, codes, and standards
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to ensure integrated solutions
• Review contractor submissions and provide technical feedback
• Conduct site inspections and support supervision activities when required
• Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation

Additional Requirements:

• Must be currently available in the UAE
• Ready to join immediately or within short notice
• Have experience in medical projects
• Have civil defense certificates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
