Job Description

Fitch Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support our engineering projects involving industrial equipment, steel processing systems, and coil coating and finishing lines.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical engineering knowledge, experience in industrial applications, and the ability to support engineering design, technical documentation, equipment specifications, and project coordination.

This role is suited to a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer who can review technical information, solve engineering problems, and work with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Support the design, selection, and integration of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with engineering projects involving steel processing lines, coil coating lines, and related industrial systems.
• Review equipment specifications, material requirements, and technical documentation.
• Conduct mechanical calculations and engineering assessments as required.
• Identify technical issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with project teams, equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and clients on technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, reports, drawings, and project records.
• Assist with equipment installation planning, commissioning support, and troubleshooting when required.
• Ensure engineering work meets relevant technical standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, steel processing, or heavy industrial systems is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Experience in mechanical design, equipment selection, engineering calculations, or project engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with a distributed engineering team.
• Willingness to learn and work with specialized industrial equipment and engineering systems.
• Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) with a valid PRC license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with steel processing equipment, galvanizing lines, coating lines, or coil finishing systems.
• Experience in industrial plant design, machinery installation, commissioning, or project execution.
• Familiarity with international engineering standards and technical documentation.
• Experience working with international clients, engineering contractors, or equipment suppliers.
