Mechanical Engineer (Construction)

• Assist the Project Director/Manager in the planning, coordination and supervision of mechanical works at construction sites.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure mechanical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Review and coordinate mechanical drawings, shop drawings and material submissions for approval.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress, quality and workmanship.
• Liaise with consultants and design engineers to resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with relevant codes, standards, safety requirements and project timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, approvals, design changes and project progress.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements：

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of relevant engineering software will be an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at construction sites and liaise with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese will be an advantage.
