We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our Data Center Commissioning project in Malaysia. The selected candidates will be responsible for mechanical pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and system handover activities.

Deployment / Relocation : Candidates selected for these positions will be required to relocate to Malaysia for the duration of the 12-month project. Candidates should be willing and available to work at the Malaysia project site for the complete project duration.

1. Senior Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Commissioning

Number of Positions: 02

Experience Required

• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant Data Center Commissioning experience.
• Strong experience in mechanical systems commissioning for large-scale data center projects.
• Experience in leading and coordinating mechanical commissioning teams and activities.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Full Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at the data center project site.
• Plan, coordinate and execute mechanical commissioning activities in accordance with approved project procedures and schedules.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements, commissioning procedures and other project documentation.
• Supervise testing, inspection and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and other project disciplines to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.
• Monitor commissioning progress against the project schedule and identify issues, risks and potential delays.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Review testing records, check sheets, inspection reports and commissioning documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical commissioning issues.
• Coordinate system and subsystem handover activities with relevant project and client teams.
• Ensure commissioning punch points and outstanding issues are properly tracked and closed.
• Support preparation and review of final commissioning and handover documentation.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, progress reviews and coordination meetings.
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of commissioning activities at site.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in large-scale data centers.
• Strong understanding of mechanical commissioning procedures and testing methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, P&IDs and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and project schedules.

2. Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Commissioning

Experience Required

• Minimum 8 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Data Center Commissioning experience.
• Relevant experience in mechanical commissioning activities for data center projects is essential.
• Experience working on large-scale data center or MEP commissioning projects will be preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Full Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Conduct inspections, testing and functional checks of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, P&IDs and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and other project disciplines during testing and commissioning.
• Identify, investigate and troubleshoot mechanical commissioning issues.
• Maintain commissioning records, check sheets, inspection reports and test reports.
• Support Senior Mechanical Engineers in project execution and system/subsystem handover.
• Monitor daily commissioning activities and report progress, issues and outstanding points.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are performed safely and in accordance with approved project procedures.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, toolbox talks and site coordination activities.
• Support closure of punch points and commissioning-related observations.
• Assist with preparation and compilation of commissioning and handover documentation.

Required Skills
