Mechanical Engineer (Design)

Responsibilities

• Review and revise Single Line Diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and verify Equipment Schedules and Equipment Lists.
• Review engineering calculations for Cooling, Ventilation, Fire Protection, and Hydraulic systems.
• Check pipe routing, pipe capacity, duct size, and flow rate.
• Review Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings submitted by subcontractors.
• Verify equipment, piping systems, and installation work according to specifications.
• Issue RFIs / Questionnaires and prepare MOPs as required.
• Review and revise Flow Charts, SOO, and Workflows.
• Support design and design re-check activities under the guidance of Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in ACMV, Fire Protection, or Hydraulic systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC / ACMV and building mechanical systems.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or related design software.
• Good knowledge of engineering calculations and system analysis.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills with project teams and subcontractors.
• Data Center experience is an advantage.
