What you'll do

• Design motor housings, end-shields, shaft interfaces, and mounting structures for custom drive systems
• Develop assembly sequences and production drawings ready for manufacturing handoff
• Apply GD&T to ensure tolerances are manufacturable and assembly-friendly
• Collaborate with electromagnetic and thermal teams to validate mechanical fit, rigidity, and heat dissipation
• Support prototype builds and troubleshoot mechanical issues during validation

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) and GD&T
• Experience designing for sheet metal, casting, or precision machining
• Understanding of thermal and structural considerations in rotating machinery
• Comfortable moving between concept sketches and production-ready drawings
