Mechanical Engineer-Engineering & Plant Modification

About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support engineering studies, design reviews, project execution, and plant improvement initiatives across GPSC Group power plants. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale energy and industrial projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering design, feasibility studies, and preparation of bidding packages for mechanical projects.
• Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure completion within schedule and budget.
• Review engineering documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Supervise contractors during construction and implementation phases.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental requirements are strictly followed.
• Coordinate project handover activities, including training, as-built documentation, and O&M manuals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and customers to achieve project objectives.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer License (if applicable) is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in Power Plant, Petrochemical, Energy, Heavy Industry, or related fields
• Experience in mechanical equipment engineering and maintenance
• Experience working with contractors and project stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• TOEIC 550
