Role: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Burlington, MA

Duration: through the year with chances of extension or fulltime

Schedule: M-F 8 AM- 5 Pm

Pay: 32.00

What you will do

:•Support attribute focused projects through our product development process to build reusable knowledg

e•Reference existing research and synthesize analysis from i

t•Partner with internal or external resources to conduct consumer researc

h•Build prototypes that are used for evaluation or modeling to understand trade space

s•Support the development of key product attribute prototypes and the development of specifications primarily focused on the Craftsmanship attribut

e•Development of new testing methods for requirement verificatio

n•Creation of new quantitative product requirements and target

s•Analyze testing data to build new insight

s•Manage and conduct craftsmanship reviews of Keurig and competitive products leveraging our evaluation mode

l•Correlation of our consumer feedback to the craftsmanship of our product

s•Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyse

s•Partner with a cross-functional team of technical, business, and manufacturing subject matter expert

Requirement**

s:**•**Bachelor’s degree in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or simil

ar•3+ years of professional experience in a relevant indust

ry•Experience with user-centered design practices including quantifying the relationship between consumer perception and product attributes (craftsmanship, performance, usability, etc

.)•3D design / modeling (SolidWork

s)•Component and assembly design analys

is•Excellent oral and written communication skil
