Job Description

We are looking for a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our Estimation Department on a remote basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer who wants to build a career in construction estimation, tendering, steel structures, tensile membrane structures, aluminium fabrication, and project costing.

The selected candidate will work remotely with our estimation, engineering, sales, procurement, and project teams and will receive practical training and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0–1 year of experience is acceptable.
• Strong interest in estimation, quantity take-off, construction, fabrication, and technical costing.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
• Must have a personal laptop/computer and reliable high-speed internet connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Estimation Department in preparing project estimates and quotations.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Prepare material quantity calculations.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and estimation sheets.
• Collect and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assist in calculating material, fabrication, labour, transportation, and installation costs.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial quotations.
• Coordinate remotely with engineering, sales, procurement, and production teams.
• Maintain estimation records and pricing databases.
• Assist senior estimators with tender submissions.
• Learn and develop knowledge of steel structures, aluminium structures, tensile membranes, PVC/PTFE fabrics, tents, shades, and fabrication works.
• Ensure estimates are prepared accurately and within required deadlines.
