Mechanical Engineer (Execution)

• Support the Department Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring maintenance work is completed on time
• To establish communication channel between higher management and engineering technicians.
• Maintain and organize documentation, technical records, and correspondence for all major maintenance activities with contractors, suppliers, and consultants, including daily status reports.
• Plan manpower and supervise contractors for plant maintenance and repair works.
• Prepare and present improvement projects, including CAPEX proposals
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, KAIZEN, and quality programs
• To conduct investigation and report on the conditions of machinery before and after each major improvement project / repair and recommending improvement works to the availability of the plant, machinery and equipment.
• Track maintenance costs and compare actual vs planned performance
• Provide regular maintenance updates using systems like EPICOR and reports
• Lead the team to achieve planned maintenance schedules effectively

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial / manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of plant machinery, maintenance planning, and execution
• Experience in supervising contractors and managing maintenance activities
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiar with MS Office and maintenance/reporting systems (e.g., EPICOR)
• Knowledge of safety practices and compliance requirements
