We Are Hiring: MECHANICAL ENGINEER (FACILITY MANAGEMENT)

At Synerlitz (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, we are committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality Facility Management solutions. We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support our Facility Management project in Taman Melawati.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring engineers and fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in mechanical building services, equipment maintenance, HVAC systems, and facility operations while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Systems Inspection & Assessment: Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and building services to identify defects, performance issues, and maintenance requirements.
• Maintenance Planning & Coordination: Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure mechanical systems remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Mechanical Works: Monitor and coordinate mechanical engineering works, including HVAC systems, pumps, motors, ventilation systems, plumbing, and other relevant mechanical building services.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure maintenance works are carried out according to the required scope, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Site Supervision & Progress Monitoring: Monitor on-site activities, track work progress, and ensure that maintenance and repair works are completed efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Technical Reporting & Documentation: Prepare site inspection reports, maintenance records, progress reports, equipment performance reports, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Quality, Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that works comply with applicable safety requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
• Facility & Asset Management: Support the maintenance of mechanical asset records, equipment registers, work orders, and maintenance schedules to improve operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, facility management teams, consultants, and other stakeholders to address technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in Facility Management, mechanical building services, and maintenance operations.
• Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Willing to attend site inspections and coordinate on-site maintenance activities when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
