About You

You’re an experienced Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer with a strong background in chemical, petrochemical or refining projects. You bring technical expertise across pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other static process equipment, alongside the confidence to communicate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You enjoy taking ownership of technical challenges, sharing your expertise and helping develop engineering capability. Whether you’re seeking a longer-term opportunity to help build a team or part-time/ad hoc consulting work, we’d welcome a conversation.

About the Role

Based in Houston, you’ll provide senior mechanical engineering expertise focused on static equipment for chemical and refining projects. You’ll contribute to equipment engineering, collaborate with project teams and participate in client meetings as a trusted technical resource.

The role offers an opportunity to help shape the growing Houston mechanical team, mentor engineers and provide technical input to proposals and work-winning activities. Business development support will be a small part of the position.

The opportunity is initially a 12-month W2 contract, with negotiable rates and potential to transition into direct hire. Part-time or ad hoc arrangements may also be considered for experienced consultants.
