Mechanical Engineer - Ghuwaifat Project

JOB PURPOSE

The Mechanical Engineer exists to plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical works, ensuring systems are installed and completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation and construction activities.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering teams.
• Prepare site reports and resolve technical and installation issues.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Field/Specialization: MEP.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, drawings, specifications, and installation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• UAE/GCC construction experience.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Ability to manage a small team (Foreman/subcontractors) on site.
• Strong coordination skills with subcontractors and consultants.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Urdu is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
