Mechanical Engineer I

Junior Engineer responsibilities:

• Creates CAD models of components using current and accepted practices and procedures.
• Designs die castings, sand castings, permanent mold casting, extrusions, and injection molded parts along with associated drawings.
• Designs sheet metal components, brackets, and other parts along with associated drawings.
• Creates other detailed component drawings.
• Manages various projects as assigned.
• Confers with engineering and other staff to determine design modifications for product improvement.
• Creates and/or modifies BOM assemblies.
• Issues ECN’s as required for drawings, parts and BOM changes.
• Creates shop assembly and customer installation instructions.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
• Internship experience to 0-2 years of experience
• Proficient computer skills in Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excel Macros, Access database knowledge
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments

Pay: $71,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
