Mechanical Engineer Intern

What you will do

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern you will support the design team to modelling components implementing solutions that are efficient and cost effective, working in close relation with the laboratory. In particular you will work on:

• Support the mechanical design and development of hydraulic components and systems for dishwashers.
• Develop and modify 3D models and mechanical components using CAD software, with a particular focus on PTC Creo.
• Support the creation and update of technical drawings and product documentation.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of new product concepts and innovative technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team throughout the product development process, from concept and design to prototyping and validation.
• Participate in laboratory activities, including prototype testing and analysis of test results, to evaluate and improve component performance.
• Work closely with international engineering teams, particularly colleagues based in Turkey, on ongoing development projects.
• Collaborate with external stakeholder on selected strategic projects, exchanging technical insights and supporting the development of solutions aligned with market trends and customer needs.

What you need to succeed

• Student in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields
• Knowledge of CAD for technical design
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.

We offer an initial 6 months paid internship.

800 euro/month, company shuttle from Cascina Gobba, free company canteen, smart working.
