Mechanical Engineer (Internship)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in monitoring and coordinating mechanical works at construction sites
• Assist in site inspections and monitoring of mechanical installation works
• Support engineers in reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Assist in checking materials delivered to site and ensuring they meet project requirements
• Assist in monitoring contractors' work progress and maintaining site records
• Support the preparation of site reports, progress updates, and project documentation
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams as required
• Assist in ensuring mechanical works comply with project quality and safety requirements
• Perform other engineering-related tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or Site Engineer

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
