Mechanical Engineer – Junior

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in MEP maintenance and mechanical systems to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, fire alarm, plumbing, and ACMV systems, along with experience supervising maintenance activities and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of life safety systems, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits.
• Diagnose equipment and system faults and coordinate corrective actions.
• Plan and implement scheduled and preventive maintenance activities.
• Establish and maintain maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Respond to major equipment breakdowns and technical issues.
• Plan system overhauls, upgrades, and long-term maintenance requirements.
• Supervise engineering and technical staff.
• Procure, test, and commission specialist mechanical components and equipment.
• Monitor maintenance budgets and coordinate with management.
• Set, monitor, and track maintenance KPIs.
• Support the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Requirements

• B.E. / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with strong MEP maintenance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of:
• HVAC Systems
• Firefighting Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Plumbing Systems
• ACMV / Smoke Control Systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Qatar Driving License – Mandatory.
• UPDA / QCDD certification preferred.
• Immediate joiners with NOC preferred.
• Qatar-returned candidates preferred.
