Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to handle maintenance, troubleshooting and reliable operation of production machinery and plant utilities. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, machine improvements and coordination with Production, Stores, Procurement and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintain extruders, haul-off units, cooling systems, cutting, socketing/belling and orientation equipment.
• Inspect and maintain bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Handle maintenance of compressors, chillers, pumps, cooling-water systems and other utilities.
• Conduct RCA for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, modification and improvement projects.
• Identify critical mechanical spares and coordinate with Stores/Procurement.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors and external service vendors.
• Maintain breakdown reports, PM records, machine history and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure proper safety procedures, isolation/LOTO and equipment guarding.

Preferred Experience

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
