Mechanical Engineer – MEP

• Supervise and execute HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply, fire fighting, and other mechanical works at site.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, and other disciplines.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, MIRs, and inspection requests.
• Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, UAE regulations, and consultant/client requirements.
• Monitor subcontractors, technicians, plumbers, ductmen, pipe fitters, and other site manpower.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for site inspections and approvals.
• Check quantities and assist with material procurement and site requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Prepare as-built drawings, O&M documentation, and project close-out documents.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements at site.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical requirements and deliveries.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports as required by the Project Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience in MEP/construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of drainage, water supply, fire fighting, pumps, piping, ventilation, ducting, and mechanical equipment.
• Familiar with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage mechanical works at site.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
