Mechanical Engineer – Prototype Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in product development and mechanical prototyping
• Able to develop a product from concept/design to finished prototype
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, or similar materials
• Knowledge of cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, and brushed metal finishing
• Able to create and read technical drawings and production specifications
• Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
• Able to develop production SOP, work instructions, and quality standards
• Able to determine materials, dimensions, fabrication methods, tools, and production processes
• Experience with prototype testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement
• Hands-on and comfortable working directly with workshop/fabrication teams
