Mechanical Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop mechanical designs in accordance with product specifications and engineering requirements.

2. Design, simulate, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for ALD, CVD, and PVD semiconductor equipment, while contributing to continuous product improvement.

3. Select mechanical components, coordinate procurement activities, evaluate component quality, and provide technical support to manufacturing suppliers.

4. Support assembly, integration, commissioning, and testing of prototype systems.

5. Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and technical design records.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design & Manufacturing, Precision Instrumentation, Process Control Engineering, Vacuum Engineering, Energy & Power Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

3. Solid understanding of product development processes, mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), engineering materials, and mechanics of materials.

4. Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is preferred: fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, vacuum engineering, chemical engineering principles, heat transfer, applied optics, or finite element analysis (FEA/FEM).

5. Experience in the design of semiconductor manufacturing equipment or vacuum systems is highly preferred. Experience with optical system calculations or FEM simulation software is a plus.
