🚨 NOW HIRING | Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment | Freeport, TX

WTS Energy is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment to support a major LNG facility in Freeport, Texas .

🔧 The role focuses on:

• Static & fixed equipment: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and piping
• Mechanical integrity and equipment reliability
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Equipment inspections, NDE results and repair recommendations
• Pipe stress, thermal growth, flexibility and vibration
• Air-cooled heat exchanger reliability
• Engineering scopes, repair plans and MOC documentation
• Field walkdowns, inspections, PSSR and turnaround support
• Application of ASME, API and TEMA standards

🔹 Ideal background:

• 3–10 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Experience with static/fixed equipment in LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical or process plants
• Mechanical integrity, reliability or equipment engineering experience
• Knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and piping
• Experience with CAESAR II, API/ASME, FFS, RBI or damage mechanisms is a plus
• Strong hands-on, field-oriented approach
