Mechanical Engineer - Trainee

  • Support the achievement of departmental productivity and operational efficiency targets.
  • Assist in optimising resource utilisation and minimising equipment downtime.
  • Assist Senior Engineers and Supervisors with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and assist in identifying the root causes of equipment failures.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, manuals, and schematics.

  • Develop technical knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and engineering practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics.

• Show proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).

• Have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
