Mechanical Engineer (with Machine Operator Experience)

Role Summary We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with proven machine operation experience. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for not only overseeing the mechanical integrity and maintenance of our equipment but also actively operating machinery on the floor to ensure optimal production efficiency. This position aligns with international engineering best practices while adhering strictly to Philippine operational and safety standards (DOLE-OSH).

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Monitoring: Hands-on operation of industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment, ensuring all processes run smoothly and within specified tolerances.
• Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, routine servicing, and immediate troubleshooting of mechanical faults to minimize operational downtime.
• Process Optimization: Analyze machine performance data to recommend and implement engineering modifications that improve efficiency, safety, and output quality.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical operations and equipment comply with international safety standards and local Philippine regulatory guidelines.
• Technical Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of machine performance, maintenance activities, and parts inventory using modern reporting tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Licensure: Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, with direct, hands-on experience as a Machine Operator (e.g., CNC machines, heavy industrial equipment, or specific manufacturing machinery).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Training: Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification is a strong plus.
