Mechanical Engineering

• To be responsible for production activities that includes engineering designs, machineries/equipment, manufacturing processes, material control and quality control of the New Bus.
• To assist in new bus project activities that includes of research and development, project briefing/meeting, products specification and design drawing of structure and plan seat.
• To monitor manufacturing process that includes steel cutting, body structure & steel work, wiring, aluminium sheet, interior fittings, furniture, painting and others in order to minimum production wastage, improve product quality and productivity.
• To assist in product quality inspection activities that includes of In-Process Quality inspection and Out-Going Quality inspection to ensure specification standard meet customer requirements.
• To liaise and communicate with internal/external parties on matters relating to new bus for regulatory compliance that includes of PDI, APAD, PUSPAKOM & JPJ.
• To conduct training in manufacturing process and assist subordinates in troubleshooting in the event of a problem for continual improvement
• To prepare and present of data and reports timely to management and other user departments.
• To maintain and keep proper records of all production relevant documentations.
• To observe housekeeping and safety in the office and production.
• To implement and maintain quality management system in accordance to the requirement of ISO 9001 and to ensure ISO 9001 procedures are being followed.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with a background in the automotive industry, particularly in bus manufacturing, vehicle body fabrication, or automotive production, are preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for engineering design, and technical drawing preparation.
• Good understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and quality control principles.
• Knowledge of vehicle manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements related to APAD, PUSPAKOM, and JPJ would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with production teams and other departments.
