What they need
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced CAD Drafter to join our team. You will be supporting the ME department in creating and modifying 3D Models and Drawings. You will be using SolidWorks as your CAD tool and SAPs ECTR as your PDM.
Key responsibilities
- Create and Maintain 3D Models and 2D drawings
- Prepare and clean drawings for engineering review
- Understanding of GD&T
- Knowledge of top-level assembly structures for new architecture
- Understanding of Title blocks and attributes
- Understanding of BOM structures
- Understanding of ECNs
- Support engineering on best modeling and drafting practices
- Maintain drawing and model templates
About you
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
- Understanding of SolidWorks and model practices
- Experience with PDM tools, Change Control and Configuration Management in an automotive manufacturing organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with CAD and Drafting
- Multi-tasking ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in front of a computer for long hours
