Mechanical Engineering III

Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Engineering III for a Contract job with a client in Erie, PA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the manufacturing industry.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

• Minimum of 5 year of experience in related field

• To be available for work in Erie, PA region

• Basic Knowledge of Electric machines design principles

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong technical aptitude, including; applicable engineering tools and systems knowledge

• GD&T, drawing release, and tolerance stack-up analysis expertise

• Familiarity with design, test, and analysis tools and systems

• Strong understanding of electrical machines theory and application

• Proficiency with engineering tools related to Stress analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Vibration Analysis such as; Ansys or equivalent
