Mechanical Engineering Intern

MHI Power Technical Services Corporation is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to engineering activities in a professional technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing and reviewing technical documents, drawings, and reports.
• Support engineering teams in basic mechanical design and technical analysis activities.
• Assist in preparing and organizing engineering data, records, and documentation.
• Support project-related activities and other engineering tasks as assigned.
• Participate in meetings, site/office activities, and other learning opportunities relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Required to complete an OJT/Internship as part of the academic curriculum.
• Must be willing to complete the required number of internship hours.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, 3D CAD, or other engineering software is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a professional engineering environment.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
