Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) is inviting applications for a Mechanical Engineering Internship under the Autonomous Maintenance Lead functionat our Sta. Rosa Plant, Laguna.

Location: Coca-Cola Sta. Rosa Plant – Brgy. Pulong Sta. Cruz, Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Internship Scope

• Support Autonomous Maintenance Implementation: Assist in rolling out autonomous maintenance (AM) practices across production lines.
• Operator Training: Help design and deliver one-point lessons and visual standards for equipment care.
• Daily Maintenance Activities: Participate in cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tagging abnormalities.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Track breakdowns, downtime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Contribute to kaizen initiatives to reduce chronic stoppages and improve reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain checklists, inspection sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Deliverables

• Standardized inspection checklists for operators
• Visual management tools (red/green tags, lubrication maps, defect logs)
• Creation of training materials (one-point lessons, presentations, SOPs, CILT standard)
• Improvement reports summarizing downtime reduction, defect elimination, and OEE gains

Learning Objectives

• Technical Knowledge: Understand machine components, lubrication systems, and inspection methods.
• Lean Manufacturing Skills: Apply 5S, root cause analysis, and kaizen principles.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Identify abnormalities early and propose corrective actions.
• Leadership & Communication: Facilitate operator engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use metrics like OEE to evaluate maintenance effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduating Mechanical Engineering student
• Willing to work onsite
