Mechanical Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electronics, Mechatronics)

• Creation of designs for new mechanical products according to requirements and specifications
• Assisting the Business Development team in preparing a feasibility study for a part proposal under a potential development project.
• Preparation of 3D CAD data, 2D drawings, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical consultation to suppliers, vendors, and customers throughout the development process until mass production.
• Manage the timely submission of mechanical prototypes and tool-off samples in accordance with project development schedules.
• Provide comprehensive support for new project development and R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including the Purchasing, QA, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales departments.
• Maintain implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards, 5S activities and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) around your working area, within the department and across all equipment operations.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Superior or Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess at least a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or a diploma in electronics or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD and CATIA are compulsory.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Preferable Chinese speaker, as needed to communicate with the China supplier and customer
• Willing to work at Tanjung Harapan, Northport, Port Klang.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
