About us

Seen Services is a specialist building services contractor delivering mechanical, electrical, fire, security and communications packages across the UK. Year on year growth drives continual development and grows our client base.

The role

We need a mechanical estimator to own tenders from enquiry to submission. You will take drawings and specifications, produce accurate measured take offs, price them with our supply chain and issue competitive, well qualified tenders that we can deliver at a margin.

You will have a strong technical background with the ability to deliver Design and Build tenders.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience estimating mechanical services in a contracting environment.
• Confidence in using estimating software packages.
• Design and build experience, you will know what is required to fulfil the design brief and maintain a competitive position.
• Scope and specification gaps identified early in the tender period and raised for clarification or clearly qualified.
• Commercial awareness: you understand margin, preliminaries, risk allowances and what a realistic win rate looks like.
• Organised, accurate and comfortable working to tight tender deadlines on several bids at once.
• You will be client facing and confident in bid presentation.
• A hunger to grow the business and with it your position.

What we offer
