The Role:

Kempe Engineering are seeking to employ an apprentice Mechanical Fitter to start in our Mount Gambier based workshop.

You’ll be working across Fitting services — including installation, repair, and commissioning — at our workshop and some client sites. As you develop your skills, you’ll work towards completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, fully supported by our experienced team.

Requirements:

• A self-motivated, reliable and punctual attitude

• A strong commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE

• Genuine commitment to completing your apprenticeship and study requirements

• Good problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

• A customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile

• Strong organizational and team working skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, close-knit team

• Hold a current driver’s license

• A good level of physical fitness and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
